Eucharist is another name for Holy Communion. In our Eucharistic service, the prayers and readings remind us of the Last Supper.
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
(1 Corinthians 11:23-25)
In our Sunday service everyone is welcome from the very young to the very old.
Last Sunday of the Month
On the last Sunday of the Month we hold a family service – a service designed especially to bring all ages together. The service is shorter, more lively, and the prayers and readings come from our young and old(er) members.
Our Tuesday and Thursday services are short and prayerful. A perfect time for quiet reflection and a peaceful time in order to worship our Lord.
