We are now running a MESSY CHURCH for families, on the 2nd Sunday of the Month at 4pm in the Church Hall.
We are thinking about changing the time of our Messy Church and would like your opinion.
We have now had one year of our Messy Church, and what a year it’s been!
Our Messy Church is One Year Old!!
We are happy to be celebrating one year of Messy Church at the Resurrection. We have seen over 250 people through the doors!
We have made memory buckets, windmills, mother’s day, father’s day and Christmas cards, decorated sheep cakes and gingerbread, splatted the car park with paint, planted wildflowers and mustard seeds, played rounders and more!
We have had lots to eat, including; picnics – indoor and out, pizza, pancakes, hotdogs, cake and more!
We have learned about the Bible, God and Jesus; measuring God’s love, friendship, trusting God, Zachariah, the Prodigal Son, the Lost Sheep, the Easter Story to name but a few:
We have met Douglas who lives in America but talks to us about being a Christian.
We have sung our hearts out, everything from the best sheep song in the world…
to an incredible Nativity version of Bohemian Rhapsody:
not forgetting our friends in Toy Story
And we never forget to say our prayers – one day we will get the actions to the Lord’s Prayer right!
And we always end with the High Five Peace!
We’ve had a great year, hope you enjoyed it too!
